I was freelancing with a friend, and we got asked by Goodwill to do a brand campaign for them. They had free media and wanted to fill it showing an array of products you could find in a store. We suggested they let us create ads based off of an insight.
I don’t know if they totally knew what that meant at the time, but when we came back and said, “Everyone has stuff they should really let go of so others can enjoy it,” they said fine and we did our thing. The ads got a lot of creative press from pubs like Communication Arts, Graphis and Archive Magazine and were a lot of fun to make.
